Elsham Village Hall

Elsham Village Hall is situated on Chapel Lane in the centre of the village, and has car park spaces for around 10 vehicles, with additional parking available on New Street. It was opened in April 1992 after a long and tremendous fundraising effort by the village, aided by grants from the then Humberside County Council. The village is proud of this space and the facilities it provides; it is well used by local clubs and also a perfect venue for children’s parties, large work meetings or private events.

The hall space is framed by impressive wooden beams, offering a large open area. It accommodates around 100 people seated. There are full kitchen facilities available, as well as disabled access and disabled toilets.

Outside the hall there is a replica of a Lancaster bomber, in memory of Squadrons 103 and 576 who flew Lancasters, among other aircraft, from the Elsham Wolds airfield. There are also 11 poppies attached to the model, corresponding to the 11 names on the village War Memorial for WWI in the churchyard. There is a small lawned area suitable for outside seating.
